What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That means clear headings, text you can resize, everything reachable with a keyboard, enough contrast to read comfortably, and no content that relies on motion.

How we check

Pages are checked with automated accessibility testing and by hand: keyboard use, zoom to 200%, phone-sized screens, reduced motion, and with JavaScript turned off.

Known limitations

  • Parts of the home page move into place as you scroll. If your device asks for reduced motion, or saves data, the finished page shows without it.
  • The rental valuation form needs JavaScript to prepare your summary. Without it, you can message us on WhatsApp instead.
  • Photos are described in text where they carry meaning.
  • We link to GOV.UK, Peterborough City Council and other websites, and cannot change how those pages work.
